This is a Ford 800. This is one of the oldest ladder trucks still in service in New York State. It has to be steered from both the front and the back. It’s unique design of steering means it can fit in tighter places that the new ladder trucks cannot. It has the carrying capacity of 3 crew members, the truck driver, one passenger, and the person in the back. It holds 6 ground ladders and plenty of ventilation and rescue tools/ equipment.
